Reaching out for support doesn’t have to mean you know exactly what you need.

Maybe you have questions. Maybe you're overwhelmed by what your family is facing. Maybe you just need to say it all out loud to someone who will listen.

That’s enough.

Sign up for a CATCH Conversation and one of our volunteers will reach out to find a time to connect. It’s a simple first step toward finding support for yourself and your family.

Reach out when you're ready: https://catchiscommunity.org/parent-support-network/ -conversations

A hard thought can feel true in the moment.

“I’m failing.”
“This will never get better.”
“No one understands.”
“I should be able to handle this.”

Thoughts are information, but they are not always facts.

If worries, sadness, fear, or overwhelm are getting in the way of daily life, it may be time to talk with someone you trust or seek professional support. CATCH can help parents and caregivers find places to begin.

ADHD is often misunderstood, and those misunderstandings can add shame for kids and families.

During ADHD Awareness Month, we’re making room for more accurate, compassionate conversations.

ADHD is not caused by bad parenting. It does not mean a child is lazy. And support can look different for every family.

When adults understand more, kids are more likely to feel supported instead of blamed.

For students with learning differences and families thinking about what comes after high school, college planning can bring a different set of questions.

Choices 2026 is a postsecondary planning event for students with learning differences, hosted at Glenbrook South High School on Tuesday, October 6.

Families can explore options, gather information, and start conversations about support beyond high school.

There’s something different about talking with someone who really understands. Parents Connect brings together small groups of parents and caregivers raising children who are navigating mental health challenges. It’s a place to talk honestly, hear from others walking similar paths, and leave with support, perspective, and sometimes a new idea for moving forward.

We currently offer groups for parents and caregivers of kids ages 6–13, teens ages 12–18, adult children 18+, and a group focused on eating disorders.

If this sounds like the kind of support you’ve been looking for, reach out. Groups are ongoing and you can join anytime.

There are moments when hope does not feel easy to reach.

That does not mean it is gone.

Sometimes support starts with one honest sentence, one trusted person, one conversation, or one next step that makes the day feel a little less impossible.

You are not alone.
