One test is not going to define you. 🌿

Sometimes the best thing you can do for your mental health is to step away from the laptop and treat yourself to something small.

Admitting things are tough isn’t a sign of failure, it’s the first step toward feeling like yourself again.

You don’t have to carry it all alone.

Let's break the silence and build a community of understanding and compassion.

Before we can support, we have to notice-Sometimes the signs aren't loud.

CATCH loved witnessing one of our longtime and dearest friends, Coach Geo, being honored by the Glenbrook North Parent Association with the Distinguished Teacher Award at last week’s GBN Senior Awards Ceremony.

Coach Geo has a gift for making every student feel seen, supported, and safe. We are grateful for the mental health lens he brings to his coaching, teaching, and advocacy.

Congratulations, Coach Geo!

CATCH was deeply moved by the more than 60 essays submitted by GBN seniors for this year’s CATCH Mental Health Awareness Scholarship.

Last Friday, our treasurer, Jane Ciancanelli, had the honor of presenting four $500 scholarships to Katie Chang, Amber Hwang, Ethan Lee, and Ben Sabin.

To every student who shared their personal and meaningful reflections on mental health: thank you. Your honesty, courage, and words matter. Congratulations to this year’s scholarship recipients!

“We don’t need to do more as parents. We often need to do less and trust that our kids are more capable than we think.”

That powerful reminder from Dr. Leigh Weisz captures the heart of our May Lunch & Learn.

If you missed the program — or want to revisit it — the full encore presentation is available, along with short clips and speaker resources.

Congratulations, Nate Nayman! 🎓💜

Graduation is a milestone worth celebrating and today, we are celebrating not only where Nate is headed next, but the incredible way he has already shown up for others. Over the past three years, Nate chose to host the 5K for CATCH and raised more than $15,000 to support kids and families in our community. That kind of initiative, heart, and follow-through is rare, and it has made a real difference.

Nate, thank you for being a champion for CATCH. Your generosity and commitment have left a mark on this organization, and we are so grateful to have been part of your story.

We can’t wait to see where your next chapter takes you. Congratulations, enjoy today and we are cheering you on every step of the way. 💜
