A huge thank you to Econo Foods for allowing us to have our tree lot next to their business again this year. Our Christmas Tree sales were great and the proceeds will help make our community a better place. Thank you to everyone who purchased a tree from us....sales were again spectacular and we owe it to you.

The NYA Lions would like to thank everyone who supported our pulltabs over the years at the Pour House. Your patronage has been greatly appreciated and has been used to support local youth and Senior Citizen activities and programs, park equipment upgrades, scholarships, community programs, Empty Stocking and Empty Easter Basket food programs, and many, many other programs. Have you seen the demolition and construction at Friendship Park. Do you know what they are doing? The city crew are removing the old playground equipment and installing a new $40,000 playground donated by the Norwood Young America Lions Club. With the approval and participation of the NYA Parks Committee and the City of NYA it is our goal to make our parks a shining jewel of Carver County. Last year we put in the playground at the Sports Complex, this year and next we are doing Friendship Park. When you purchase pull tabs at the Pour House or Unkle Thirsty's or attend one of our events, you are providing funds that we use to improve our community...pretty amazing huh? Thank you

NYA Lions Pancake Breakfast is coming up October 12 at the pavilion. 830am to 1100. We are also going to collect used eyeglasses for Lions sight programs, so bring your old glasses.
