How To ACTUALLY Calculate Net Carbs (Most People Do This Wrong) Not all “low carb” foods are actually low in net carbs 👀

Here’s the easiest way to calculate net carbs accurately:

Total Carbs
− Fiber
− Sugar Alcohols
= Net Carbs

Example:
15g total carbs
− 8g fiber
− 4g erythritol
= 3g net carbs ✅

But here’s the catch ⬇️
Not all sugar alcohols affect blood sugar the same way.

✔️ Usually lower impact:
• Erythritol
• Allulose

⚠️ May still raise blood sugar in some people:
• Maltitol
• Sorbitol
• Xylitol

Also: “Keto” labels can be misleading. Always check the ingredient list and nutrition facts yourself.

Tracking net carbs can help with:
• Blood sugar stability
• Weight loss goals
• Reduced cravings
• Ketosis support

Novo Nordisk now has an oral daily pill for purchase in addition to the once weekly injection. Pro a lot of people don’t like to inject themselves Con: It does appear that the weight loss is slightly less than in the injectable groups and side effects include nausea and vomiting, but it’s nice to know that there are options.
