Through collaboration and providing the resource of space The Living Room Project creates opportunities for creative expression, collective healing, and community building/organizing. Deeply rooted in Healing Justice, Harm Reduction, and Transformative Justice principles and practices, The Living Room Project nurtures and celebrates the self-determination, interdependence, and resilience of Black
& Brown Queer and Trans communities. The Living Room Project offers space at sliding scale rates for Healing Justice practitioners, community events, workshops/classes, meetings & rehearsals, artist showcases, film screenings, live music performances, and more. Since opening its doors in June 2012, it has become a valued community resource. Micah Hobbes Frazier founded and currently serves as director of the LRP. He is a Black Queer Boi healer, doula, facilitator, dj, and magic maker, living, loving, laughing, and building community in Oakland since the summer of 1998. He uses his skills and magic to create spaces where healing and transformation are possible. For more info visit www.thelivingroomproject510.com and/or contact [email protected]
