From coloring and gluing to scooping and pouring, this simple craft creates opportunities to practice fine motor skills, sequencing, communication, and sensory exploration!

Activities like these are built into our therapy sessions to make practicing development skills more engaging and fun!

Transitions can feel like such a small part of the day until it’s time to leave the playground, turn off their tablet, or head out the door.

For young children, switching from one activity to another can require a lot of skills at once. Sometimes, our children need support learning how to move from one thing to the next.

That’s where ABA therapy can help! We can work on skills that make everyday routines more manageable, including transitions, flexibility, following directions, and independence.

Having structure doesn’t mean every day has to go exactly as planned. It simply gives your child a familiar framework they can rely on as they learn, grow, and navigate everyday experiences.

One of the hardest parts of parenting is knowing when to wait and when to ask for help. Many families hear advice like, “Let’s just wait and see.”

Sometimes, waiting is appropriate. Sometimes, children benefit from additional support. The challenge is that it is difficult to know if your child will catch up on their own.
