My life changed 6 and a half years ago when I almost died and woke up to a ventilator. I was ready to give up because what kind of quality of life could I possibly have. I am literally surviving on a machine. I wouldn’t be able to do anything.

I had no clue who I was after that. I had no identity. I was different, my body was different and I had no voice because of the trauma to my vocal cords.

What was there to be grateful about? Nobody teaches you how to build yourself back up after all the trauma and pain.
I had to do it myself.
I relearned how to talk
I started a beauty brand
I built up my confidence and self love

Here we are years later and I realized that Kira Cosmetics was never just makeup.
It was identity.
It was survival with intention.

This is where beauty meets visibility.
This is Beauty After Survival.
