Let me start by saying this clearly: Innocent until proven guilty.

But if the allegations are true, there is nothing worse than someone breaking into your home and stealing from you, especially when it is your neighbor.

Imagine years of waving hello, smiling, wishing someone a good day, all while allegedly living next door to the person accused of violating your sense of safety.

What hurts most is not just the items. It is what they meant.

My mother’s wedding ring set is gone. Something that brought me comfort after losing her. Something that can never truly be replaced.

The emotional damage from this has been real. Looking over your shoulder. Checking closets and under beds. Losing peace inside your own home. People do not talk enough about what that kind of fear does to someone.

I want justice. I want accountability. And personally, I do not want an easy plea deal if prosecutors believe they have enough evidence to take this case to trial.

I will be there. Every court date. Every hearing. Every step.

And if the allegations are proven in court, then this was the wrong house and the wrong people to do this to.

Also looks like there is another court date coming up in Arizona on June 3. Interesting. 🤔

• I would like to thank the misdemeanor Jackson County Court Judge from the other case; trespassing & theft of utilities, that put a protection order on my family against him. Judge, if by any chance you see this, check that FTA, you were lied to. He was floating down a river in Arizona at that time, he was not in jail. I have proof and well check his release date. Also thank you Jackson County Sheriff's Department, your investigation got a grand jury indictment! •

In 2018, at 12 years old, Levi was the kid being studied at NIH.

Now at 20, we’re praying he’s the one helping move the science forward.

From research subject to clinical trial candidate… that’s the kind of full-circle moment you fight for.

Hope looks different after you’ve lived it. And we’re still holding on to every bit of it. 🧬

Levi is getting fitted for hearing aids this morning. We found out last week that surgery is not an option. He has too much scar tissue in his ears. We are going to try bilateral molded hearing aids. Down the road he may need the bone conduction kind.

His hearing has gotten worse over the last two months. If I’m talking to him and he can’t hear me clearly he instructs me to text him. Oh, this momma’s heart. 💗

How is Levi handling this? He’s in good spirits with an “It is what it is” attitude. Such a warrior!
