GOALS are key to progress! 🔑
I know I talk about goal setting all the time, but guys it’s SO important. Not only is it important when it comes to fitness, but in all other aspects of life as well!
Why are having goals so important?
✖️MOTIVATION
-Having goals help keep you motivated! Once you have your goals written down in depth, you can focus on exactly what you need to do to reach them!
✖️PURPOSE
-Goals can give you a sense of purpose! By taking the time to really think about what you want to achieve in life, you also discover your purpose. This gives you a reason to get up in the morning, to do things you wouldn’t usually do, and to live your life to the fullest!
✖️TRACKING PROGRESS
-Setting a big goal then setting small goals that will get your there is the perfect way to track progress! If you just say “hey I want to lose 50 lbs”, but don’t make a plan, that goal is going to be much harder to achieve and likely take much longer than one would hope. By setting small goals and crossing them off one by one, you feel a sense of accomplishment and will be motivated to keep going.
I set goals for every aspect of my life from fitness, family, marriage, finances, business...you name it! I start with a big goal and break it down from there! Since I have been doing this, I have been SO much happier, productive, and excited! I have also changed a lot and grown for the better!
If your not setting goals, I encourage you to START TODAY! Focus on them, celebrate when you hit a small goal, and enjoy the process. I promise it will change your life!
