repetition determines opportunity ➡️ success is paved by doing the small, uncomfortable tasks every day. consistent movement and daily healthy choices build resilience, promote health longevity and creates our overall well-being more than any quick fix.

believe it until you achieve it ➡️ when you expect progress, you stick to routines and your brain rewires to support new habits. mindset is not ❌ some “fluff” bs … it changes hormones and behavior. try it!

my partner said to just “get over it!”

yet what are you getting over when you’re actively healing and managing every day responsibilities? the best way you can communicate your needs is understanding them first. then share how your lived experience is being impacted or is in need of some assistance.

this is especially significant for any one living with a chronic presentation or are in recovery from significant life events such as giving birth and being postpartum.

take it easy
identify your needs
remain cognizant on if you’re watering yourself down for someone else’s comfort or inability to share your perspective of your own lived experience 🫰🫰🫰

as always, stay curious about yourself and what your body is trying to signal to you on the daily 🫶

what if we were taught that symptoms are actually signals, rather than problems? i’ve linked common symptoms above to the likely impacted systems of the body to better understanding how to address your unique biochemical responses within your health profile.

simplified to say:
😴 fatigue = hormones + nervous system
😫 anxiety = nervous system + stress response
🫘 skin issues = immune + gut health

at the start of this week i was fortunate enough to spend time with and .braden in discussions about our humanness in the day in age of AI.

a few takeaways i’d like to share:

💫 the mind is like a tuning fork being impacted by the environment (body) that tune into sensations & feelings

💫 if your mind is like a broadcast channel, what channel would you want to automatically tune to when turned on (awake)?

💫 our internal state of being, including our beliefs and emotions, broadcasts out into the world around us defining our perceptions of the world

💫 a reminder that genes are not self-actualizing. genes are sequenced to require cellular development, regulatory networks and environmental signals (stress, toxins, etc) that then express as traits

💫 if we know that we spend most of our awake time in the subconscious state, in fact 95% of it, how can we aid the nervous system in the architectural design of our lives?

💫 as mammals with iron-based hemoglobin as blood, rather than cooper-based in arthropods, similar to the iron in earth’s core which shaped our biochemical evolution with geochemistry. what significance does this provide us in our existence and ability to adapt?

i honestly walked away with a lot more reflections and am still spending time digesting all the concepts discussed.

ultimately i have felt empowered and humbled by the gnarly trip in which the human experience is while moving on a rock in an infinite amount of space.

sometimes it feels heavy and expansive, but in community i’m reminded that i love my fellow humans, yes even the weirdest of ones — because isn’t it the coolest experience to be a functional biochemical development called human with a meat suit and internal processing system inside of us all. that’s similar but uniquely different with an imprint that no one else has or ever will have, only variations.

this may be a unpopular opinion, however, we can all agree upon the demand of our external environments.

we all have errands to run, to-do lists longer than our patience on a weekday, notifications going off every 2-seconds and, if you’re anything like me, wayyy too many tabs open to review 🫠

we continue to learn that the social feeds that control our life are meant to do so by stealing our focus 🧟‍♀️

raise your hand 🙋‍♀️ if you’ve lost countless hours to the external noise around you ‼️ leading to little, if not any time for what truly matters: YOU 👋

you matter more than that “one last video”
you have an entire ecosystem within you
yet you scroll and scroll convinced the answers are outside of you

please drop that BS
aka what defines as, your “belief system”

what you’re searching for is INSIDE OF YOU
the fear, blaming, victimization, indebted anger you carry and try to find meaning in through someone else’s understanding and experience will only leave you misaligned and frustrated that “nothing is changing!”

you are the change
you are the intelligent system of development
you are the hard drive ready for a new download
you only need be ready to channel your tuning into: YOUR OWN 🧠🫀✨

guard your peace of mind with your life 🤍
by connecting every day with yourself
asking yourself every day “what do i need today?”

health does not only include the body 👏 the mind, heart and environment around us are included on that list.

when we prioritize prevention over neglect, compassion over judgement and access over privilege, we not only move the needle on our own health, but also the rest of societies. we may start to recognize that being part of a whole is how we’ve thrived all along, and will continue to do so.
