New post from John on ReTensioning® using the analogy of fitting a door into a settling house. Check it out!

1. Leave it alone. You don’t close that door much and there is no problem if it is open all the time. 2. Mechanically change the door or the door frame. You can plane a little off one or both so they now have the same shape, or close enough, so that the door goes into the frame and closes fully.

I love using ReTensioning® with my clients. I have so many great experiences! Recently I saw someone that I had done ReTensioning® with a month ago for a sore ankle. He had broken it quite a few years ago and had recently sprained it again. Immediately after the session he told me his ankle hadn't felt that good since he had broken it. When I saw him again this week it was still feeling great!

Over my career as an LMT I've had the opportunity to study a variety of therapeutic modality's. Although it's a requirement of my industry, I've always enjoyed learning new approaches to working with the body. ReTensioning® is now, most often, my "go to" for people with chronic pain and for two reasons, it's been amazing for my clients, and it's incredibly gentle on the therapist. ☀

Please reach out to Sen. McCollister, Sen. Brewer, and your own senator (contact info below) to let them know you oppose AM 1936 to LB 709.

While we do not oppose LB 709 as introduced, we do oppose AM 1936. This amendment is not needed for Massage Therapists and other professions under the Universal Credentialing Act. Nebraska State Statute 38-129.02, 38-1712 and DHHS Regulations 172 NAC 81 all clearly define reciprocity requirements for Massage Therapy in Nebraska.
AM 1936 creates loopholes in reciprocity, allowing individuals to practice in Nebraska without regard to educational requirements. This creates a major discrepancy in licensure and expectations of professionals, and opens doors to bad actors.
