This place BLEW my mind away! 🤯😍

Logged 15k steps in a little over 3 hours! 😅 Would take MUCH longer with kids as I was zippin through to see everything! ⚡️

Zoo came highly recommended and for good reason! A MUST while visiting Omaha!! 🙌🏼

Hope you had the merriest Christmas! ❤️🎄💚

Ours was one we’ll never forget.

A cozy cabin getaway, Truffle snuggles 🐾, best meal ever (surf n turf on steroids)…and the sweetest gift of all—getting to have Mom home with us for Christmas after a looong 41 days of being away. Truly nothing compares.

And today…it’s the day after Christmas and we are doing absolutely nothing 😌
No plans. Nowhere to be. Just us, resting, exhaling, and soaking in the stillness together—something we haven’t had in a long time.

Feeling extra grateful, thankful, and blessed 🤍✨

I have never prayed so much. I have never asked others to pray so much.

This past week has been a - whirlwind of emotions.

Brief background: my mom has battled COPD + emphysema the past 20 years. She had hospital scares in both 2018 and 2023. But she is one hell of a fighter and has overcome so much. She’s a walking miracle.

But now it’s happening AGAIN…

She had a hard time breathing last Friday and took an ambulance to Buffalo Hospital. She suffered from a collapsed lung, which is a brand new issue for her.

Later that night she was put on a ventilator and sent to Abbott Hospital (where she was in 2023).

Fast-forward to today (6-7 days later)…many ups and downs and multiple moving parts with a chest tube, BiPAP vs ventilator, feeding tube, heart stress, etc.

Various emotions from everyone involved.

The amazing news is - she has us. My dad has been her PERSON for 56 years and has barely left her side. My sister and brother-in-law booked one-way tickets from home in Louisiana. My man has supported me even during his busiest time of year with his business.

I was SO on track with the first 11 days of 75 Hard but on Day 12 - everything changed. My mom took priority. While I haven’t stayed on track with meals or 2 workouts/day…I still have had no alcohol and have taken moments to take care of myself the best way I can manage for now.

I hate leaving my Marma’s side. I hate going to bed just waaaaiting for a terrible late night phone call. I hate that my mom is so uncomfortable. I hate a lot of things right now.

But I will always have hope. I will always support my mom’s decisions on HER future. I will always be grateful for the two parents that gave me life. That gave me direction. That instilled empathy, positivity, practicality, and too many more incredible qualities to even fathom to list out.

I will not give up. I will not lose hope.

I will continue to pray and ask others to join me. Mom has felt the love and prayers from others. I know God is listening.

My simple ask to anyone still taking the time to read this is to please pray for this incredible woman who has touched so many lives.

Such a special Easter this year! 🐣🐇

My parents just got home from their 4+ month RV trip down south and met and me for church ⛪️ at ! Love their modern services, engaging pastor, and of course - the music! 🎶 Talented band and a bonus choir!

Then we went to a buffet brunch at where we met Brian’s dad. Meaning OUR PARENTS MET!! 👏🏼

SO grateful I fiiiinally met my person after searching for 40 years. This is a reminder to never lose hope!! 🙏🏼

If it can happen for me - it can happen for YOU! 🥰🥰🥰

I prayed and manifested for you for 40 years - and here you are! 🙏🏼

Our story: friends who never saw this coming. He wanted to take me out to celebrate my birthday and we NEVER expected we’d fall head-over-heals in love! 🥰

I’ve never been treated so well in my life and I want to thank God for allowing me to wait, be patient, and still someone remain hopeful that I would find my person after years and years of dating the wrong ones and living the single life for so long. 🤪
