Deportation put on hold until Jacey Jo is feeling 100% Woke up at 4:00 a.m. and headed to Children's during check in the staff decided not to proceed with surgery since Jo Jo has a rash & cough. Now we are rushing back to Sioux City to see our pediatrician!

Jo Jo's port is begging to be 'plugged' in just one last time! A temp of 100.4 could land her in the hospital emergency room & cancel tomorrows surgery......she is 100.3 & sick!

Time to get God on the red phone please! Jo Jo is one step closer to having slayed this beast! Tomorrow August 7 the same surgeon who placed her port on March 7, 2013 will finally get to remove it! It's safe to say I AM SCARED! Anytime there is anesthesia there is a greater risk of not waking from the medical induced slumber necessary not to mention the port has been connected to a major artery starting in Jo Jo's neck that leads straight to her heart where a hunk of metal has been hanging out for two plus years with plenty of time for tissue to have formed all around some pretty important areas of my baby girl who just thinks it's cool that her and Iron Man have a connection! I'm concerned about the gaping hole that will be left in it's place & the monthly arm pokes to follow! God blessed Jacey Jo big time! Some kiddos have 2 & 3 ports or their bodies reject a port completely causing them to become a pin cushion so no complaints or crying around now! Just prayers please? Her port has served it's purpose and eased a lot of suffering for Jo along the way!

Potassium is causing all kinds of problems for this kiddo! Jo Jo's potassium level has been wiped out from vomiting. Finally forced down the biggest horse pill I have ever seen only to puke it up & then some. Doc is starting fluids & putting her potassium through her port, a 2 hour process. Have a feeling we are in the right place just in case. At this point we are guessing Jo Jo has some funky new super virus. We will know more from her labs.

Jacey Jo just hasn't been feeling up to par lately. Please include Jo Jo in your bed time prayers. We had to make a trip to the Emergency Room. Jo Jo's leg pain had Freddy carrying her from the house to the car & mama from the parking lot to the check in desk (I'm getting old)
Jace power hurled with her mask on & made it to her own room in record timing. Fever & flu like symptoms, with vomiting & leg pain makes mama uneasy & probably always will. Dear Jesus it's a little late in the game for leukemia to cause Jo Jo such chaos and without a doubt we know Jacey will win because she is blessed by your grace!
