September is Su***de Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about su***de and promote prevention. It's crucial to remember that you're not alone and help is always available. If you're struggling, here are three things you can do:

1. Reach out to a trusted friend, family member, or mental health professional and share what you're going through.

2. Contact the Su***de Prevention Lifeline by phone or text at 988 to connect with a crisis counselor. https://988lifeline.org/

3. Practice self-care activities that bring you joy and relaxation, such as exercise, meditation, or spending time in nature.

Remember, seeking help is a sign of strength, and there are people who care about you and want to support you.

Melissa K Rodriguez Foundation Presents our 2nd Annual Walking With Purpose 5K!

When: October 10, 2026
Where: Hitchcock Park 4220 Q Street

This not just an event; it’s a space to honor, remember, and stand for something bigger than ourselves.

You can walk in honor of someone you love, in memory of someone you’ve lost, for yourself and your own journey or for the women you know who need support and strength.

This is a space where stories matter, where names are remembered, and where no one walks alone.

If you plan to walk this year, tell me: Who are you walking for?

Let’s fill this space with love, strength, and purpose. 💜

👟I am so excited to officially start planning our 2nd Annual Walking With Purpose 5K for this year here in Omaha. 👟

This walk was created in honor of my sister, Melissa, and in support of women and families in our community. Last year was our first year, and the support, love, and turnout meant more than I can even put into words.

Because of all of you, we are doing it again, and this year we’re planning to make it even bigger and even more impactful. I will be posting more information soon!

So for now, be on the lookout for the official event announcement and details coming soon.

Thank you so much for continuing to support this mission, this cause, and this community.

This is more than a walk— we are Walking With Purpose. 💜💜

When was the last time you actually paused and gave yourself credit for what you did do this week?

Not just the big things… the small things too.
Because here’s the truth; every time you acknowledge a win, no matter how small, you’re teaching your mind to focus on progress instead of pressure. You’re literally rewiring the way you see yourself.
And that matters.

So yes, we’re celebrating it all over here:
✨ Getting through a hard day
✨ Showing up when you felt off
✨ Taking care of yourself
✨ Doing the best you could with what you had

Those aren’t “little” things — that’s growth.
Take a second and drop one win from your week below. I’m celebrating you 💕

🤍Sunday Reset 🤍

Before we start a new week, I want you to take a quiet minute and ask yourself this:
What am I carrying into this week — and what do I need to put down?

Is it stress?
Is it hope?
Is it fear?
Is it grief?
Is it motivation?
Is it exhaustion?
Is it a fresh start?

You don’t have to have everything figured out to move forward. Sometimes just being honest about where you are is the reset.
Some of you are carrying a lot right now — and I want you to know you don’t have to carry it alone here.

A new week feels different when you enter it with intention instead of survival mode. CC for 5 helpful tips!

Just a gentle reminder that you matter too. In the middle of showing up for everyone else; your family, your work, your community.. don’t forget to show up for YOU!

Self-care isn’t selfish. It’s necessary. It’s how you refill your cup so you can keep pouring into the people and things you love without losing yourself in the process.

Whether it’s 5 quiet minutes, a walk, saying “no” without guilt, or simply resting. Give yourself permission to prioritize your well-being. You deserve peace, joy, and softness just as much as anyone else.

This is your safe space, your village. We’re here to uplift, support, and remind each other: you don’t have to do it all alone.

Drop a 💜 if you’re choosing YOU today.
