When you’re mentally drained, the brain can naturally generate harsh critical thoughts. It’s often fatigue and stress that makes our minds create internal noise amplified by exhaustion. This is exactly how I felt lastnight. I was mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point I cried myself to sleep.

But then….

I woke up rested which helped me regain perspective. God reminded me how strong I really am. This is why it’s so important to start your day with him. Our minds are a powerful thing. It can work against us or it can work for us. For me, God is the best counselor you can ever have and it’s FREE ⚔️

Be at peace with God and ok with being misunderstood by the world….

Being at war with the world sometimes looks like protecting your peace, setting boundaries, walking away from chaos and turning down certain environments. Rest from constantly performing for people.

Today, ask God for the kind of peace that doesn’t need validation from the world to feel real.
