VIRUS NAME: “SARS-CoV-2” or “Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome CoronaVirus 2”
DISEASE NAME: “CoVID-19” or “CoronaVIrus Disease 2019”
INCUBATION: 2-14 days after exposure
TRANSMISSION: respiratory droplets (coughing or sneezing within 6 ft), hand to mouth, nose or eyes
SEVERITY: mild to severe, the complete clinical picture is not fully understood
SYMPTOMS: fever, cough, shortness of breath
POPULATIONS AT RISK: most cases have been adults, though mild infections have been reported in children. Affects males more than females. Those with underlying health conditions: >65 years, immunocompromised, kidney heart or lung conditions
DIAGNOSIS: test
TREATMENT: treat the symptoms, no vaccine or antiviral approved at this time
80% of cases are mild

3. Tell them how to protect themselves: washing for 20 sec, cough into sleeve, keep distance
