There are a lot of things I don’t know how I’m going to make happen when I first decide they need to happen.
But “I can’t” has never felt like an acceptable answer when it comes to my kids.
So I figure it out.
I work more. I rearrange things. I sacrifice. I get creative. I find another way. Sometimes I have absolutely no clue how I’m going to pull something off until I do. 😂
Because I never want my kids to believe that having one parent actively providing for them means they should expect less from their childhood.
They deserve opportunities. Experiences. Adventures. Memories. ❤️
No, they don’t need everything their friends have.
But I will always do everything within my power to make sure they never feel like their family circumstances decided what was possible for them.
Maybe that’s one of the biggest things single motherhood has taught me:
You become really damn good at figuring it out when figuring it out is the only option. ❤️
