The older I get, the more I realize that a lot of what we were taught to value doesn’t actually improve our lives. Most people are overstimulated, constantly distracted, exhausted, disconnected from their health, and wondering why they feel off all the time. Then you start simplifying things. Taking care of your body. Getting outside more. Being present. Protecting your peace. Spending real time with people you care about. And you realize those “small” things were the big things all along.
