We’re used to people staring at our autistic kids with judgement, confusion, or even condemnation. We brace ourselves for it when we’re out in public, the proverbial mana bear ready to protect her cub. So when someone actually looks at our children with kindness and acceptance, well that really stops us in our tracks.

Be curious. Be a good human. Be kind. 💚
