There's a reason I chose zero-gravity chairs instead of floor mats — and it's personal.

In 2011, I had surgery to treat cancer. It left me with lymphedema in my left leg, which makes getting up and down from the floor genuinely difficult. So when I started designing this studio, floor mats were never an option for me.
