Hi, I’m Nathan — co-owner of The Yoga Channel, Silver Strand. I’ve been teaching yoga here in Oxnard since 2014, and this studio has been my home for more than a decade. My wife, Amber, and I officially took ownership on February 1st, 2021, but our story with The Yoga Channel

started long before that. For years, this space has been a sanctuary by the sea — a place where every body, every age, and every ability is welcome to move, breathe, and find calm. When Amber and I stepped into stewardship of the studio, we did so with deep gratitude for the teachers and community that built its foundation. The years that followed were anything but easy — yet it was you, our community, that carried us through. Your presence, support, and commitment to your own practice are the only reasons we’re still here today. Every class, every breath, and every shared smile has kept this studio alive. At The Yoga Channel, we specialize in gentle, restorative, and therapeutic yoga — practices designed to support strength, mobility, and balance, especially for those 50 and older who want to keep moving, healing, and thriving in their bodies. My goal is simple: to help you feel more comfortable where you are, both physically and mentally, through the steady rhythm of practice. Yoga has taught me that wellness comes through practice — not perfection. One mindful breath at a time, we all return to ourselves. Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or reconnecting after years away, there’s space for you here. Our doors, our hearts, and our mats are open.
