𧬠SCIENCE SATURDAY: WHAT ARE YOU BUILDING? šŖā¤ļø
For years, so much of the conversation around health has focused on one thing:
Weight loss.
But a lower number on the scale doesnāt always tell us whether weāre becoming healthier or stronger.
šŖ Muscle matters.
Muscle helps our bodies use glucose more effectively, supports our bones, gives us strength for everyday life, and helps us stay active and independent over time.
And hereās the good news:
You donāt have to train like an athlete.
A few strength exercises.
A walk.
Enough protein and nourishing whole foods.
Good recovery.
And most importantly ā consistency.
Those small choices add up.
So instead of only asking:
āHow much weight can I lose?ā
Maybe a better question is:
āWhat am I building?ā ā¤ļø
A stronger body.
Better habits.
More resilience.
A healthier future.
Because health isnāt just about becoming smaller.
Itās about becoming stronger. šŖ
š¾ā¤ļø Small steps. Big impact.
