Choose to break free.
Don’t show up to just talk without walking the walk. The heart should walk with the shadow in wholeness. It’s not a perfect path. There are struggles with motivation and staying on task. Show up anyway. Wake up every day with intention in your heart. Move throughout the day with purpose. Hold yourself to a standard of love without judgment. Can you say, I’m living my life with intention through eyes filtered by my heart?
Things fail from time to time. But effort is never failure. I’m no longer a people pleaser. I used to base my self worth on what other people said I should or shouldn’t be. That was trauma responding for me. I would never wish that on anyone or the limits that places on the soul. We will never fit in a box built by someone else’s restricted mentality.
I am a bright radiant light. I will not dim that light. Even if that light makes you so uncomfortable that you have to walk away. Even if that light bothers you so much that you speak ill of me to make yourself feel bigger. I will never again reduce myself to the expectations of others.
I am too much and too loud at times. My scars are visible at times too, but they taught me to see through the world’s hurtful ways. My world does revolve around me as the basis of my perception. That simply means I know I have to I love myself enough to not settle. I am not settling for bad behavior or snide remarks. I am not settling for judgment of my person or my actions.
I am whole, I am love, and I am light. And I will continue to be those things even if you choose to scrutinize them. I will continue to be those things, even if you don’t believe it to be true. I will continue to be me in my truest form.
I am constantly learning and growing. I am not always confident. I sometimes hear the voice of doubt. I take things personally and my feelings get hurt by unkind words. Once the pause is taken, I am reminded of my light.
The unkindness is about the person delivering the message, not the recipient. It was work to find this place and there isn’t anything that can diminish that now. I will never ask for permission to be me or acceptance of it.
I will not fall into confrontation. I will walk away. I will not ask you to like me. I will embrace the ones that see me. I will not accept criticism for the purpose of judging. I will look inward for what the mirror is teaching.
Know you’re worth. Settle for nothing less than the absolute best for yourself. Believe that you are worthy of every daydream and every inventive thought. You may not be the first to see it or say it, but that doesn’t make it less important to speak it.
Take action to create what your heart calls you into. It may look similar to someone else’s path but the difference is YOU! Your presence will draw hearts simply because of your energetic resonance. No two hearts hold the exact same vibration. You are the niche.
Create the standard within you, by treating yourself the way that you expect others to show up for you. We are not here to mimic identity or society. You are here to be the truest form of you. Walk with your head high. Stand in the radiance of your own light more. Move through this world exactly as you are.
If you’re still finding your light, lean into what feels the most true for you. On the days that you struggle, seek that light through other resonating people that shine theirs. When someone else shines their light, it’s placed with purpose to guide you back to YOUrs. If someone feels like a false light, trust the intuition and move on. Not everyone is FOR you. You will find your way if you keep looking inside. Trust your intuition, it’s your truest guide.
