🤱💙 Supporting families, one feeding journey at a time.

During National Breastfeeding Month, we're proud to recognize the work happening across Legacy Community Health to help parents and babies get the support they need for a healthy start.

This month, our teams connected with patients and families at Legacy locations across Houston, Fort Bend, and Beaumont, sharing breastfeeding education, answering questions, and helping families access trusted resources throughout their infant feeding journey.

We also highlighted the work of Yanett Hodgson, Legacy's Lactation Consultant, whose guidance helps parents build confidence and navigate feeding decisions with personalized support.

As we close out Community Health Worker Week, we celebrate the Community Health Workers who bring Health Beyond Care to life every day. They build trust, break down barriers, connect families to resources, provide education, and guide people through their health journeys with confidence and support.

From encouraging preventive screenings that can save lives to supporting parents in their children's development, our CHWs make a lasting difference far beyond the walls of our clinics. They bridge the gap between healthcare and everyday life, ensuring people have the tools, information, and support they need to thrive.

✨ We extend our gratitude to all of Legacy Community Health's Community Health Workers for the compassion, dedication, and commitment you bring to the communities we serve. 🌟 Community, wellness, and connection all in one place!

Legacy was proud to participate in the ¡Vive tu Vida! Get Up! Get Moving!® Health & Wellness Fair in Houston, bringing together individuals and families for a day focused on health, education, and community.

Attendees enjoyed wellness resources, a Zumba class, and food distribution while connecting with organizations dedicated to helping families live healthier lives.

At the Legacy table, our team shared information about clinic and pharmacy services, highlighted our new Pasadena clinic, and distributed tote bags filled with helpful items like hand sanitizer, Band-Aids, stickers, pencils, and more.

Events like these are a great reminder that staying healthy starts with access to information, resources, and support.

Nothing beats that first-day-of-school feeling.

This week, children at Legacy's Pasadena clinic left with more than a checkup. They left with backpacks filled with school supplies and everything they need to start the year strong.

These packs are part of 3,000 being distributed to pediatric patients throughout Greater Houston. Thank you to Molina Healthcare of Texas for sponsoring… and every donor who helped make it happen.

As National Health Center Week comes to a close, we're celebrating the people who make it all possible. 💙

For nearly 50 years, Legacy Community Health has grown from a single clinic into one of the nation's largest community health centers, serving more than 200,000 patients each year.

This week, Team Legacy came together across multiple retreats and gatherings to reconnect, celebrate achievements, and look ahead to the future. From School-Based Health Care teams preparing for a new school year to clinicians, medical assistants, front desk staff, and support teams gathering across our region, these moments reminded us that our greatest strength has always been our people.

Every appointment, every classroom visit, every patient interaction, and every life changed starts with a team committed to serving our communities with compassion and purpose.

Thank you to every member of Team Legacy for helping expand access to care, improve health outcomes, and create healthier futures for the patients and families we serve.

Legacy Community Health was proud to participate in the Pasadena Back-to-School Health Fair at Sunset United Methodist Church, where our team connected with more than 200 community members throughout the day.

Families stopped by to pick up school supplies, hand sanitizers, and other helpful resources while learning more about healthcare services available through Legacy.

Events like this are about more than preparing for the first day of school. They're about helping families connect with resources, building stronger communities, and ensuring children have the support they need to thrive.
