Central Coast Lavender Farm and Apothecary is a Paso Robles based health and beauty company. Founded in 2006 as a modern day lavender farm, distillery and apothecary, our products are medicinally focused and remedy based. CCL products are thoughtfully

created and fueled by the healing power of botanicals and herbs. At Central Coast Lavender we seek balance between functionality and indulgence throughout our entire product line. Central Coast Lavender apothecary products are crafted in small batches in our manufacturing lab. With a strong commitment to luxury, only the highest quality ingredients go into our products. That means no drying sulfates, harsh parabens, or harmful fragrances. We believe that products should be both mindful and luxurious without compromise. The Beauty Nature Has To Offer
The chemicals that make common commercial products function are often bad for both your body and the environment. The cosmetics industry pours vast amounts of these chemicals into their personal care products because, to date, there is little or no required testing, monitoring of health effects, or even labeling requirements to prevent them from doing so and the general public is often unaware of their usage entirely. Central Coast Lavender's goal is to provide our customers with the safest alternatives to the harmful chemicals used in most cosmetics. By producing our products in small batches we can ensure that only the highest quality ingredients are used. We are continually researching and adding to our ingredient list making sure we are using the best and latest green alternative ingredients we can.

Some days ask everything. This is where a little of it returns. The water run warm and unhurried, no screens past the door. A few drops of English lavender straight in, enough on its own, and ten slow minutes that belong to the evening. Grown and cut on a Registered Organic Estate in Paso Robles, then steam distilled in a copper alembic pot still by the aromatherapist who formulates it. Bottled pure, nothing added.

The bloom of the year is over, and that is not a loss. It is the turn.

The lavender has been cut, and now it gathers itself again in the quiet. When the copper still's work is done, the lavender essential oil is not quite finished. In the weeks after distillation it rests, and settles into itself, the way anything true settles, given time.

September is a good month to notice what the summer asked of you, and to set some of it down. Keep what steadied you. Let the rest complete its own quiet ending.

The first thing we reach for is the lavender. The one that opens the windows and wakes the senses, that cools us in the heat and gives back a moment or two of exactly what the day was missing. A simple mist over the face, over the space around us, over the cushions on the sofa or the sheets on the bed.

Lavender reaches us two ways at once. Breathed in, the scent travels to the part of the brain tied to mood and memory, which is why a single breath can soften a moment. Misted on the skin, its small molecules are drawn in and carried through the body.

Morning or night, our Lavender Mist is two things only: pure Lavandin essential oil and purified water.
