🐾 I used to think loving my dogs meant feeding them well, taking them to the vet, giving them plenty of treats and probably letting them take up WAY too much room in the bed. 😂
Then I learned that loving them also meant paying attention to their environment.
What am I cleaning the floor with when their paws are touching it all day?
What am I spraying into the air they're breathing?
What's on the blankets they curl up on every night?
I didn't always think about those things.
And once I started paying attention, I couldn't really stop paying attention.
I'm still learning.
I'm still making changes.
And I'm definitely not trying to create some perfectly "clean" home.
I'm simply trying to make better choices for the family that depends on me.
Because my dogs can't read labels.
They can't choose what gets sprayed on the floor.
They can't decide what gets brought into our home.
They trust me to make those choices for them. ❤️
That's really what Healthier Homes. Happier Tails. 🐾 means to me.
Dog moms, I'm curious...
What's something you pay more attention to now because of your dog?
