Awakening to the Autumn rain, the trees glistening with brilliant shades of gold, crimson, and amber. The morning mist carries the scent of fallen leaves and the promise of change. I am reminded once again about the magic of this season—a gentle reminder to slow down, breathe deeply, and allow the beauty of the present moment.
The day awaits, an enchanting drive through the backroads, sighting Turkeys and falling leaves, tree reflections in the rivers……
A kind act forward from law enforcement- a latte to begin the day's errands.
A stop to pickup and deliver signs for the Upcoming Route 3 Artists Trail Walk with opportunities to share in anticipation of gathering in the Community.
A couple of hours to complete a couple of new designs and deliver a special commission piece.
Time dedicated to movement, intuition and focused awareness.
Dusk begins and I pick the last of the harvest from the garden beds.
A harvest dinner, flowers and time with a loving and sensitive partner as the sun sets.
As this day unfolded I am reminded again of Autumn's invitation, as I am brought deeper and deeper into the depths of gratitude for the beauty of Mother Earth, the beings that have enriched my life and for the time I am given to create and participate in Community.
Sometimes, the most beautiful days are the ones that ask nothing of us but to simply be. 🍁
