Here it is, the end of 2025. What a year for myself privately and professionally. It started with opening of Ritual: Arts and Tattoo in Jonesboro followed by the honor of participating in the Delta Art Show at A-State.

During the year I had the opportunity to tattoo many beautiful people with too many hours to record. To each of you- THANK YOU for giving of yourselves to myself and the studio!

My son was accepted at MSU prior to a near fatal accident in May that landed him in LeBonuer. But my year was also filled with friends old and new, some local others stopped by to visit.

Before going off to school I gave my son his first tattoo, and then found out my father had stage 3 melanoma. For my wife and I, our lives would be forever changed: letting go of our son while moving to care for my parents.

My wife had to leave 2 months before me, but I was never forgotten. Thank you to everyone who has checked in on me throughout my transition!! Unbeknownst to me, friends and clients came out one evening to give me a surprise going away party I'll never forget!! Thank you all!! It'll be a moment in time I'll forever cherish!!

After arriving in Pensacolca, I worked to get my bearings. By November I had gotten the studio and myself licensed in FL and was looking at getting back to work again. When lastly, my wandering in a spiritual darkness ended when I entered catechesis and found a home at Basilica of St Michael the Archangel.

There's the high points with more written without words in my heart. This has been a difficult year, but so many of you have been kind and caring towards me and my family. It's been humbling and beautiful to know such loving people. It is my heart that each of you have a blessed 2026!! ❤️🙏✨️

EXCITING NEWS for the future of Ritual and it's clients! The studio will be relocating to the East Hill district of Pensacola! All social media will stay active as well as the business number 870 273 6098.

To all my current clients, should you have work to finish, want a tattoo while on vacation, or have family in the area who want a tattoo- contact me! To all new clients, I look forward to meeting you and beginners new projects with you!

For the time remaining, I have roughly two weeks left to finish before wrapping up here in Jonesboro. Thank you to everyone who has come in and kept my books full, not only through the years, but through the last couple of months!! I'm sad to leave you, but I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing you again in Florida.!! ❤️🏖 😎🤙

I know I've said "thank you" a lot, but I don't want anyone to feel I expect the heartfelt responses of encouragement, solidarity, and genuine support!! To all of my clients and friends- THANK YOU for giving me such a beautiful sending off! ❤️

That being said I have a couple more updates:

1. I am full and can't fit anyone else in. 🥺 Unfortunately, I am already cresting on overcommitted...

2. Good news!! A shop in the area is willing to hang my license! Once we talk more, I can give more details.

I am trying to finish getting caught up on my messaging so that I can complete the work at hand. Thanks fir the patience for those waiting!! I hope to give more news in the coming weeks and start posting work again once things settle. Much love to you all and have a great weekend!!

Here's the update for those that have been waiting. I'm going to answer "why, where, when" below.

WHY:
Yes, Brodie's graduation and consquent exit to MSU has left Nancy and I alone in AR, but more is happening behind the scenes. A couple months ago my father was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and is undergoing treatment. The distance from family is too great to travel every month, so a move was inevitable. My time frame has changed and I'll explain the next steps.

Where:
I am moving to the Pensacola area, but where I'll eventually settle, I am unsure at this time. Once I get settled, I'll post more on this, but it'll be somewhere between Pensacola proper and Navarre Beach.

WHEN:
In a previous post, I was wanting to hold on till Oct 31st, but am having to cut it short by 2 weeks. That said I am only taking work up to Oct 18th. The last 2 weeks of October I will be packing my studio and home in preparation to move.

To those that have already scheduled with me- THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! What a send off! ❤️ For those waiting to hear from me, I'll be in touch ASAP.

WHAT'S NEXT:
As for tattooing in FL, I'm having to get licensed in the state before being employable or opening a business. I am looking at continuing to tattoo in some capacity at this time, but it may take till January 2026. Hopefully, sooner though. Please follow me as I share this transition in my life. If any of you would like to see me again while visiting or get work, let me know!! I'd love to see my AR tattoo family again! ❤️ Take care.
