Today’s monsoon storm brought a brand-new experience for Nash (5 months), Ella (7 months), and Sunny (9 months)! ⛈️

Sunny was convinced the rain was the best thing ever and spent his time trying to catch the raindrops. 😂☔️

Nash and Ella disagreed. They stayed as dry as possible and kept their distance from the rain at all costs. 😅

While this wasn’t a structured training session, moments like these are just as important. Real-world exposure helps puppies build confidence and learn how to navigate new experiences in a safe and supportive way.

Some puppies chase the rain. Some avoid it. Either way, they’re learning. 💜🐾

🐾 Weekend mode: ON! 🐾

While training is an important part of our Board & Train program, weekends are all about balance.

Today, 5 month old Nash, 7 month old Ella, and 9 month old Sunny enjoyed some well earned playtime together! 🎾🐕💨

Just like people, dogs need time to decompress, relax, and simply enjoy being dogs. During the week, we focus on building skills, confidence, and good habits. On the weekends, we take a step back from formal training sessions and focus on applying those skills naturally in everyday life while making sure there’s plenty of time for fun, socialization, and relaxation.

Learning happens best when it’s balanced with rest, and these pups are proving that you can work hard and have fun too! 💜🐾

🌼 A little confidence, a little focus, and a few new friends along the way! 🐾

Ella is settling into her training program and learning that listening pays off, even when there are other dogs around. From practicing her commands to working through distractions, she’s taking each challenge in stride and growing more confident every day.

One of the best parts of training is learning how to be successful in real-world situations, and having a few canine buddies nearby makes it even more rewarding. 💜

Way to go, Ella! We can’t wait to see what you accomplish next. 🎉

🌟 Training is always more fun with friends! 🌟

Sunny has been hard at work building his foundation skills, and today he’s showing off his progress with his canine classmates cheering him on. 🐾

Learning basic obedience isn’t just about teaching commands. It’s about building focus, confidence, impulse control, and the ability to listen even when exciting things are happening around them.

Sunny is proving that with consistency, guidance, and a little support from friends, big progress happens! 💜

🌟 Meet Our June Board & Train Stars! 🌟

Say hello to Ella (7 months), our sweet Labrador 🐶, and Sunny (9 months), our lovable St. Bernard Doodle 🐻🐾!

These two are spending the next few weeks with us working on the skills that help puppies grow into confident, well mannered adult dogs. From everyday manners and impulse control to building confidence in new situations, we’re helping them learn how to navigate the world with clarity, confidence, and success. 🌎💪

Training isn’t just about obedience, it’s about creating dogs who can handle life’s adventures calmly, make good choices, and thrive alongside their families. 🐕🏡💜

We can’t wait to share their progress, milestones, and a few adorable moments along the way. 📸✨

Memorial Weekend crew! 🐾🇺🇸

16 dogs ranging from 4 months to 16+ years old all posing together like pros. 📸🐶

And the second & third pics? Those are our pups who prefer smaller groups or their own space and that’s perfectly okay too. Not every dog wants to be part of the big crowd, and we always honor that. 💜

Whether your dog is the life of the party or prefers the introvert life, they deserve care that respects who they are.

We love our holiday crew! 🥰✨

Cooper is taking full advantage of one of the last cool mornings before the Arizona heat kicks in! ☀️🐾

5.5 year old Cooper took a field trip to the park, working his heel with real distractions all around him. New smells, people, movement and he stayed on point. 👏

This is where balance matters most. Training at home builds the foundation, and taking it out into the real world is what makes it reliable everywhere.

Cooper showed up and did the work today! 🔥

Imagine walking your dog through a park like this with calm focus and real control every step of the way.

Schedule a call today and let’s get your dog there! 📞

Week 1 with Cooper is in the books! 🐾

Before the ecollar ever enters the picture, Cooper needs to know the commands. That’s not optional. That’s the foundation. 📚

This week was about teaching, repetition, and making sure he genuinely understands what’s being asked of him. We don’t slap on accountability before a dog has a chance to learn. That’s not training. That’s pressure without purpose. 🚫

Now Cooper heads home for the weekend to practice with his family. When he comes back, we build on something real. 🏠

This is what it looks like when we don’t rush it. 👊

If your dog’s manners need work, let’s talk. Book your Board & Train discovery call at the link in bio. 📲

Shoutout to Waldrup Somatic Method for coming out and working with Yatzi and Nash today!

Anyone can train commands. Not every trainer knows how to work with a dog’s nervous system or looks at the whole body in the process. That’s the difference here at Fetch This Canine.

I took Rose’s Pro Series course and it’s woven into how I work with every dog that comes through. She said it perfectly; calm isn’t something you train. It’s something you build.

If you’re dreading every walk, embarrassed by every reaction, and exhausted from just existing with your dog, that’s not just a training problem. That’s a nervous system problem. And that’s exactly what we address in my 3 Week Board and Train programs. Summer spots are filling up, call today to schedule! Link in bio.
