Sunrise Day Camp would be the perfect fit! Sunrise Day Camp–Greater Philadelphia is proud to be part of the Sunrise Association, whose mission is to restore the joys of childhood to children with cancer and their siblings around the world. Through welcoming and inclusive summer day camps, year-round programming, and in-hospital recreational experiences, all provided free of charge, Sunrise creates opportunities for children to build friendships, make lasting memories, and simply enjoy being kids.
Sunrise Day Camp is hiring counselors (ages 16+) for an AMAZING summer camp serving children with cancer and their siblings 💛
We are looking for mature, responsible, energetic, and creative individuals who are excited to keep campers engaged, bring positivity, and support children with a variety of emotional and physical needs.
📍 Camp located in Penn Wynne, PA (great for staff in South Jersey, Bucks, Montco, Delco, Chester, and surrounding areas)
🗓️ June 30 – August 5 + mandatory training sessions throughout June
⏰ Camp day runs approximately 9:30 AM–3:45 PM
👧 Campers range from ages 3–16
💵 Pay: $1,500–$2,200 for the summer + $500 bonus for supervising the bus
Staff positions involve spending the full camp day with campers, creating a fun, welcoming environment while being attentive to individual needs and willing to go above and beyond.
