Reminder: when you take your car to a big name shop, the owners decades of experience may be wafting around in the air, and on the signs in their windows, and proudly displayed on their website, but it doesnt touch your vehicle.

Building a business has absolutely nothing to do with the nuances and fastidious nature of working with automotive paintwork. Much more care and attention to detail can be delivered without need for a fancy detail rig or big shop. And dont even get me started on the hexagon lights...

So when you call Detail Therapy Auto Spa to fix the other guys' mistakes, you can expect me, Chris Baltz to take care of the job. After nearly a decade in the detailing industry, I've learned that all of the gimmicky business practices, keeping up with trends, over-invoicing, and hype-based marketing, translates to exactly 0 know-how when it comes to real automotive detailing.

So although I'm still looking for shop space to continue my detailing journey and give me more peace of mind for my clients' vehicles (please keep an ear out for me if you know of anything), just remember its not the size of the shop or the amount of employees that dictates the quality of work you are going to get!
