What does Botox do?

Botox is a neuromodulator that temporarily relaxes targeted facial muscles. It reduces the appearance of fine lines and dynamic wrinkles caused by repeated facial movement. Common treatment areas include the forehead, frown lines between the eyebrows, and crow’s feet.

Botox can also be used for preventative treatment in younger patients as well. We typically see results develop within several days and last for several months.
