Turns out that the biggest growing pain for this little farm is how to fit our not-so-little harvests into our “delivery vehicle”…aka my Ford Escape. So excited to announce TWO upcoming workshop dates with Chelsea ☀️ Learn the basics of dyeing natural fabrics with flowers AND make a floral bouquet of your own…right where the flowers are grown! Me and the bees, we’ve got a thing :) Out of all the things I enjoy about this job, being surrounded by these incredible creatures is the #1. I couldn’t do it without them (and you wouldn’t be able to enjoy flowers or fruits or vegetables without them either!) Their constant buzz keeps me grounded and soothes my frazzled mind on hot, busy days. No matter my to-do list, the bees make me stop and be present. And I’m so grateful for that.

The scents of Summer are all around me in my farm studio today :) Garlic is hanging, flowers are blooming, so much seasonal abundance. Lisianthus for the win! These stems worked it out through some rough Spring weather 💪 We definitely lost a good number because of extreme heat and extreme frost, but the ones that made it feel extra special.
