It's Match Day 2026, when most 4th year medical students in the U.S. learn simultaneously where they will do residency training! We are praying for all of the students who are matching as well as those who are now scrambling after not matching. We pray for wisdom as you pursue the next steps in your journey. And we hope that your faith in God is strengthened where ever he has planned for you to be.

Please let us know where you are going and if MCO Philly can facilitate church and community connections in any way. We love you and are excited to see what the Lord will do. If you'd like to update your contact info with MCO Philly, including how you would like us to contact you, fill out our form here: https://mcophilly.org/stay-connected/.

SMI Philadelphia 2026 Student Application Deadline is Tomorrow!

Are you looking for a unique opportunity next summer? Join us for our intensive urban immersion program, The Philadelphia Summer Medical Institute. SMI Philly has trained Christian health profession students for over three decades to integrate their faith with the medical practice. During this three-week medical outreach, students will live and work in Hispanic North Philadelphia, gaining valuable experience while providing the useful service of door-to-door health screens, health education and improving access to care in the community. Through the program schedule and the critical input of faculty who teach, informally mentor and work alongside students, participants can develop their relationship with God and examine their role as Christians in medicine. The program partners with Esperanza Health Center, a Christian, federally qualified health center with three locations in the lower-income neighborhoods of North Philadelphia.

Graduate students from all levels are welcome to apply. Undergraduates in a specific healthcare or pre-healthcare track may apply (juniors or seniors preferred), but should first contact the SMI Program Director at [email protected].

How do family life and involvement in the church shape a career in medicine? In a field that often pulls healthcare professionals toward overwork and isolation, how can we cultivate healthy relationships and community — especially for those who are single?

Join us for Singleness & Marriage in Healthcare, a virtual panel conversation on February 15 at 3 PM on Zoom. Christian singles and married couples in various stages of life will share their stories, wisdom, and practical insights from their journeys in medicine. We hope you’ll come ready to listen, reflect, and be encouraged.

Only those who register will receive the Zoom link. Please email us at [email protected] to get more information about how you can register for this event.

This , we are taking some time to give thanks for what God has done in and through us. Please take a look at our winter update (link below) to read about the different ways our ministry has impacted those we serve. This work couldn't be done without support from our friends and ministry partners. Thank you all for coming alongside us in the work of equipping students to love and serve Jesus Christ in healthcare.

"The truth is, God doesn’t need me. Kensington doesn’t need me. Rather, we all need Jesus. And the good news is, He is already there, hard at work, building His kingdom."
