It was a Pleasure this week to present a Posture Prepping demo at Thorncroft Equestrian as part of their week long educational program..

Here are some before and after of a horse, Mack, who was not part of the demo.

90 % Posture Prepping 10% specific neck and shoulder work by me.

It is a glorious thing to see the change in Posture and symmetry with the cross Fiber groom, a little elbow grease and especially being present and observing what the horse and their Posture is telling .

The finishing brush isn't just a vanity step for shine; it is the final act of metabolic recovery.

Post-exercise, your horse’s system works hard to process metabolic waste. While deep grooming lifts debris, the finishing stage is where we address the skin interface and the lymphatic system.

Observation: Lymphatic vessels sit just beneath the skin. Unlike the heart, the lymphatic system has no pump; it relies on external pressure to flow.

Expert Translation: By using finishing brushes in a sequence following the lymphatic map: working towards the heart and major nodes: you assist venous return. This aids tissue recovery and regulates the nervous system. The glow you see is simply the outward sign of a regulated internal system.
