James 5:16 tells us to “confess our sins to one another and pray for one another, and we may be healed”. Through this scripture and what God taught us in our relationship we have come to understand that “talking about the hard stuff” is essential.

We had to realize that we are more alike than different. Some of the struggles we faced were similar or even the exact same. When we sat down and started to talk about the things that we buried deep inside, it led us to realize this is where our healing lies.

Our confessions made way for our relationship to grow, blossom, and bloom.

If you are seeking guidance and have a desire to want grow, blossom, and bloom in your mother and daughter relationship, but are not sure where to start.

Hi Moms & Hi Girls, we want to talk to you all about “talking about the hard stuff” in your mother and daughter relationships.

From our own experience, we understand how hard it can be to be in a position where talking about the “hard stuff” can bring fear, anxiety, or worry. But being on the other end of it, we understand that it actually has provided us with needed breakthrough.

Our relationship did not begin to grow until we let go of worry and started to talk about the “hard stuff”

James 5:16 says, “Confess your sins to one another, pray for one another, and you may be healed”

There is a freedom that comes with confessions and those hard conversations. Dig deeper and allow God to move in your relationship. 🤍

My daughter is a Master’s student at West Chester University. She has a ministry on campus (Abstinence to Purity).
Last night they came together to honor God. I am in Awe because 8 or so years ago I was in shambles about who she was, and the fear of who she may become. The uncertainty as a mother, the nights and mornings of praying for her, the misunderstandings we faced, the disconnect we felt, the emotions of failing as a mother and so many other things was all Worth IT. 🥹. I see now why the enemy fought her so hard, he was plotting, scheming and trying to destroy what GOD was preparing to use, and prosper i at the right time. You see she had to go through it, and we had to go through it, all of it in order for the oil to flow . And Now greater is coming. Blessings are on the other side of obedience.
For all my moms worrying about how the story will end, my daughter and I are living proof that it will end well.
Pray, seek and trust God with your daughter, and believe that each chapter will be better than the previous. ❤️🙏🏾.

I am indeed a proud mother đź’Ž
