Your blood sugar levels during perimenopause may be shaping your memory years later. 🧠

Harvard and Mass General researchers found that women with prediabetic A1C levels (5.7+) during perimenopause had significantly worse verbal and associative memory after menopause. The good news? The lower your A1C before menopause, the better your memory function after.

We usually talk about blood sugar in the context of diabetes, but this data reframes it as a brain health conversation, and that changes things.
Metabolic health during the perimenopausal window is one of the most modifiable factors we have for long-term cognitive function. That means there's actually something you can do about it.

Sometimes the thought of one more protein smoothie with yogurt and frozen fruit bores me to death. That’s when I treat myself to this guy.

Heaping 1/4 cup peanuts
Heaping 1/4 cup almonds
1 scoop of protein powder
1/2 cup almond milk
Cinnamon
Agave
Ice

38-43 grams of protein and 7-9 grams of fiber per serving.
