If you have noticed changes in your sleep, mood, energy, or cycle, understanding the three stages of perimenopause can help explain what your body is going through.

Hormonal transitions affect everyone differently, whether you are experiencing early signs like midsection weight gain and anxiety, or later symptoms like night sweats and persistent fatigue.

Knowing where you are in the timeline is the first step toward finding relief that actually works.

Check the video for details on all three stages. Which stage matches your current experience? Let us know in the comments and save this post to advocate for your health.

If something feels off down there, watch this.
People ask all the time how to tell if they are dealing with v@gin@l dryness.

Beyond discomfort during seggs, the main sign is a constant, subtle shift that makes you hyper aware of your body. One day you are sitting comfortably without thinking twice, and the next, everything feels slightly irritated or uncomfortable.

It is completely normal to experience this, especially during hormonal transitions, but you do not have to just suffer through it.

Save this post as a reminder to check in with your healthcare provider if you start noticing these symptoms.

"It's just stress." How many times have you heard that about perimenopause brain fog?

If you've been struggling to find words, forgetting why you walked into a room, or feeling like your memory just isn't what it used to be you are NOT imagining it.

A new study followed 230 women for 12 months and found real, measurable biological changes during perimenopause changes that were still there after researchers accounted for sleep and mood.

Here's what they found:

→ Estradiol fell 34% over 12 months, while it stayed steady in the comparison group.

→ BDNF (a marker of brain plasticity) fell 20%, while inflammatory markers (IL-6 and TNF-α) rose.

→ In a smaller MRI group, hippocampal volume was about 2.8% lower after 12 months a finding the authors say needs to be confirmed by other studies.

An important note: this is one observational study. It can show that these things change together it can't prove one causes the other. And the memory changes it reported were far larger than what bigger, longer studies have found.

What the larger research consistently shows: brain fog in perimenopause is real and common. It's usually mild, it stays within the normal range, and it tends to improve after menopause. It is not early dementia.

But it also isn't nothing, and it shouldn't be waved away.

SWIPE for the full breakdown.

Brain fog deserves investigation, not dismissal. If yours is genuinely interfering with work or daily life, that's worth a proper evaluation.

Save this for your next appointment.

My Daily Wellness Routine in My 40s!

If you are in your 40s and wondering how to boost your daily energy, improve gut health, and manage daily stress naturally, you are in the right place! Supplements can be important but can really add up, so I like to focus on ones that give me the biggest bang for my buck.

Here are the 5 daily supplements I rely on every morning to keep me feeling my absolute best:

1. Vitamin D with K2 for bone strength and immunity (a total must for Philly winters!)
2. L Theanine for calm and stress relief on crazy busy days
3. Vitamin B12 for natural energy and brain health (important for fellow vegans/vegetarians)
4. Psyllium Fiber for gut health, healthy digestion, blood sugar control, and cholesterol management (and on days when I'm feeling lazy I treat myself to fiber gummies)
5. Omega 3 for heart health, joint mobility, and glowing skin (but I take the algae version-no fish for me)

You deserve to feel vibrant, grounded, and full of energy every single day. If you are ready to upgrade your health routine but do not know where to start, I am here to help!

Comment SUPPLEMENT in the comments right now and I will personally send over all the details to help you kickstart your journey! Let us shine together!

When hormones hijack your personality...

When a patient went from "no time for anybody's sh*t" during her first visit to bright and bubbly at her follow-up, it was proof once again how powerful hormone balance is.

A little bit of hormone support can completely bring you back to feeling like you again.

When your patient’s APO B drops by 30 points, LDL by 62 points and triglycerides by 40 points.

This is the s**t I live for! Amazingly hard work from my patient and fantastic collaboration between us both.

Let’s no longer let heart disease be the number one killer of women, mmmkay?

Not you being "too sensitive." Not you being "dramatic." Just your hormones doing hormone things.
Perimenopause can make totally normal things (good morning) feel like personal attacks. Rage over nothing, crying over everything, patience gone by 9am sound familiar?

If you're nodding right now, you're not alone and you're definitely not crazy. Your hormones are shifting, and once you understand what's actually happening, it gets so much easier to manage (and laugh about).
Tag the friend who gets it.

You've done everything "right" eaten clean, exercised, tried to manage stress and your body still feels like it's working against you.

Here's the truth: perimenopause doesn't start with hot flashes. It starts quietly, sometimes 10+ years before your last period, with shifts in progesterone, cortisol, thyroid, and gut health that most doctors never test for.

You're not imagining it. You're not lazy. You're not "just getting older."

You're a woman whose hormones are changing and you deserve real answers, not guesses.
