I am so excited to announce that an app I've been working on is finally live! Meet DAWA.
DAWA is a free herbalism reference app where you can search any herb and instantly access:

-Its African names across different traditions and languages
-Healing properties and what body systems it supports
-How to prepare it (teas, tinctures, poultices, and more)
-Contraindications and safety information
-Ancestral significance rooted in African culture and history

I created it as a learning tool for my TUBHA students, but it is open to anyone that wants to be able to learn about different herbs at the drop of a dime. The library gets updated weekly, and you can even get push notifications giving you an "Herb of the Day" to learn about.
