Many people donโt know this, but abe and I had a long-distance relationship for much of the beginningโฆ. โฃ

When we got married, we lived together for a short period of time until I became very sick. โฃ

Since he was in the military, his hours were ๐น๐ผ๐ป๐ด, ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ฐ & ๐๐ป๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฐ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒโฆ. โฃ

So, I moved back home to get help during my pregnancyโฆ. โฃ

We were once again ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ of miles apart, except now we had a ๐ฃ๐ข๐ฃ๐บ ๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ธ๐ข๐บโฆ. โฃ

Once our little one came, he only had 1 year left in service, so we decided to stick it outโฆโฃ

๐ซถ๐ผWe had many facetime movie datesโฆโฃ
โฃ
๐ซถ๐ผWe were no strangers to the occasional facetime argumentsโฆ โฃ
โฃ
๐ซถ๐ผWe spent many sleepless nights on the phone because the baby was restlessโฆโฃ
โฃ
๐ซถ๐ผWeโd even cook together over facetime and ate our dinner in front of the cameraโฆ. โฃ

๐๐๐๐จ ๐ฌ๐๐จ ๐ค๐ช๐ง ๐ก๐๐๐โฆ. โฃ

I can never say it felt like I was a single mom because we were on the phone 24/7, but being alone, ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑโฆ โฃ

๐๐ฆ ๐ฅ๐ช๐ฅ๐ฏโ๐ต ๐ฌ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ธ ๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ธ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ช๐ด ๐ธ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ญ๐ฅ ๐ต๐ถ๐ณ๐ฏ ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ตโฆโฃ

But, thatโs the thing, ๐๐ฒ ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ธ๐ป๐ผ๐โฆ. โฃ

๐๐ปWe never know how much the hand we are being dealt is preparing us for our futureโฆ โฃ

๐๐ปWe never know how much these hard times are actually there to make us strongerโฆ โฃ

You see, we knew that being 100s of miles apart meant that we had to put in a whole different type of effort, โฃ

we knew itโd be hard, โฃ

we knew it was going to suck โฃ

& like any journey we had to ๐ณ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ to stay strong together. โฃ

Thatโs what any journey is about, itโs about your ๐๐ถ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ to fight for what you want regardless of your circumstancesโฆ. โฃ
