Infants have highly vascular scalps, so even minor trauma can lead to significant-looking swelling. Careful assessment, monitoring, and appropriate intervention are key to ensuring safety and good outcomes.

A young adult develops rapidly progressive, painful skin lesions with significant mucosal involvement shortly after starting a new medication. What begins as skin sensitivity quickly escalates into widespread erosions and crusting—signs that this is far more than a simple drug reaction.
