Sometimes resilience looks less like standing firm and more like staying rooted while life moves around you. 🌲

A tree can sway in the wind because it has something anchoring it below.

We need anchors, too.

A familiar breath.
People we trust.
Time outside.
Movement.
Rest.
The practices that help us find our way back to ourselves.

🌿 This weekend's practice: Step outside and notice what is steady beneath all the movement around you.

Then ask yourself: What helps me feel rooted when life gets windy?

🌸 Mothers Together is back! 🌸

Another year of connection, support, and community for moms in Sublette County begins this week.

Pinedale: Tuesday, Oct. 13 | 9–10 AM at the Pinedale Aquatic Center

Babies and little ones are always welcome. Come as you are to meet other moms, find support and resources, or simply spend a little time with people who understand.

Feeling stuck? Your brain might not need more effort. It might need something different. 🌿

A change of scenery. A few minutes of movement. A new problem to solve. A conversation. Something that sparks your curiosity.

Our brains respond to novelty and challenge. New experiences ask us to pay attention, learn, and adapt—all important parts of supporting brain health throughout life.

So this week, when you catch yourself pushing harder against a mental wall, try changing something instead.

Practice of the Week: Do one familiar thing differently.

Take a new walking route. Learn something you've wondered about. Try a new recipe. Move your body in a different way.

Small changes can wake us out of autopilot.

What will you try?

🎀 Resilience doesn’t mean facing hard things alone.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I want to recognize those in our community whose lives have been touched by breast cancer and other cancers—and highlight a local resource helping people navigate that experience together.

Harvest 4 Pink offers monthly support group meetings with connection, conversation, and talks on wellness topics for those affected by cancer.

Community matters. Social connection can help buffer stress, support emotional well-being, and strengthen our resilience during difficult times.

Sometimes resilience looks like allowing yourself to lean on people who understand. 💗

🍂 October | Rooted in Resilience

The strongest trees aren't rigid.

They have deep roots to ground them and enough flexibility to move when the winds change.

Maybe resilience asks the same of us.

This month at PranaSol, we're exploring Rooted in Resilience: strengthening the habits, relationships, and practices that ground us while staying curious and adaptable when life changes.

🧠 Mid-month, we'll explore mental stimulation + brain health, and how novelty, learning, and healthy challenge help keep our brains flexible and resilient.

Quick check-in: What have you been giving a lot of energy to lately, and what might need a little more?

Work gets busy, so sleep gets shorter.

Kids' schedules fill up, so time for ourselves disappears.

Our to-do list grows, so connection gets pushed aside.

None of this means we're doing something wrong. Balance naturally shifts with the season we're in.

But sometimes it's worth noticing where all our energy is going.

🌿 Try this today:

Ask yourself:

What's getting most of my energy right now?
What's been getting the leftovers?

Maybe you don't need a major life overhaul.

Maybe you need to go to bed 30 minutes earlier. Call a friend. Take a walk. Eat lunch sitting down. Put your phone away.

Small adjustments can help us find our way back.

💬 What's one small shift that would bring a little more balance to your week?

09/26/2026

Sometimes nature reminds us that balance is found in the adjusting. 🌊

Water moves across the sand.
It meets resistance.
Changes direction.
Creates a new path.

And in the process, it leaves behind these beautiful, intricate patterns.

Maybe balance looks a little like this.

Not holding everything perfectly still, but responding to what we meet. Shifting when we need to. Finding our way forward again and again.

✨ Science note:
Our brains are built to adapt. This ability—called neuroplasticity—allows our neural pathways to change in response to our experiences and what we repeatedly practice. Small adjustments, repeated over time, can help us build new patterns.

🌱 Today's invitation:
Notice where life is asking you to adjust rather than push harder.

Pause.
Get curious.
Make one small shift.

You don't have to know exactly where the path is going to find your way forward.

💬 Engage:
Where could you use a little more flexibility in your life right now?

09/24/2026

Rest works better when you don't wait until you're running on empty. 🌿

Many of us are pretty good at recognizing exhaustion once we've reached it.

The harder skill is noticing the earlier signals.

Maybe your patience gets shorter.
Your shoulders creep toward your ears.
You can't concentrate.
You're scrolling without really looking at anything.
Or everything suddenly feels harder than it should.

These can be clues that your brain and nervous system could use some recovery.

✨ Science note:
Our stress and recovery systems are designed to work together. Stress itself isn't necessarily the problem; we need activation to meet challenges. But periods of activation need to be balanced with opportunities for the body and brain to recover.

So don't wait for a completely open afternoon that may never arrive.

Restore in small ways, often.

Take the walk.
Close your eyes for two minutes.
Eat lunch away from your computer.
Step outside.
Go to bed.

Balance isn't never getting depleted.

It's getting better at noticing when it's time to come back.

💬 What's one signal that tells you you need to slow down?

🍂 Last chance to make a little space for yourself this fall.

As schedules fill and life gets busy, having one evening each week to move, breathe, reconnect, and unwind can make all the difference.

Our 8-week Fall Yoga Series begins Wednesday, September 30 in Pinedale, with two ways to practice:

🌿 An energizing flow + mobility series
🌙 A gentle, restorative series to slow down and reset

More than a yoga class, it’s a chance to step away from the week, reconnect with yourself, and practice alongside a welcoming community.

✨ Busy fall schedule? We’ve got you.
If you have to miss a class, you can share your series and send a friend or family member in your place!

📅 Wednesdays | Sept. 30–Nov. 18
📍 Body Balance Fitness & Wellness | Pinedale
⏳ Enrollment closes September 24

We’d truly love to welcome you this fall. 🤍
