How do you care for yourself when life feels overwhelming?

In the final installment of our four-part Mental Health Matters series, we turn our attention to healthy coping- the everyday practices that can help us manage stress, regulate our emotions, and become more resilient.

From grounding and breathing to movement, connection, self-care, and the 4Cs, this month’s blog offers practical tools you can begin using right away.

We invite you to read Part 4: Mental Health Matters: Healthy Coping- Strategies and Tips to Help You Survive and Thrive.

Remember, you don’t have to wait for a crisis to begin caring for your mental health. Small steps matter.

In the previous parts of this series, we explored what mental health is, factors that can affect it, and the importance of recognizing when we may be struggling. This final section focuses on healthy coping, the practical skills that help us manage stress, regulate emotions, and navigate life’s ch...

What an incredible journey it has been.

Over the past two years, Walters Wellness Group has had the privilege of partnering with the Google Operation Center, Southhaven, Mississippi (GOC-MS) team to provide training focused on trauma, burnout prevention, resilience, communication, and emotional wellness.

We are deeply grateful for the trust GOC-MS placed in us and for every participant who showed up with openness, curiosity, and a willingness to grow.

Our hope is that the conversations continue long after the training ends; that team members continue recognizing their triggers, responding with compassion instead of criticism, and creating healthier relationships with themselves and those around them.

We believe that every meaningful connection has the power to transform lives, and we are honored to have been part of this chapter with the GOC-MS team.

Thank you, and we wish each of you continued health, healing, resilience, and success.

💛 Thank You for Joining Us! 💛

Our hearts are full after our July 11th Writing Your Way Home: Journaling for Healing & Manifestation workshop.

Thank you to everyone who chose to spend the morning with us. Together, we created a space filled with honesty, reflection, compassion, laughter, movement, and healing. Watching each of you embrace the writing process and encourage one another reminded us of the incredible power of community.

One message came through loud and clear in your feedback: the journal prompts were meaningful, and you wanted more time to write, reflect, process, and share.
We heard you.

Because healing deserves time, we've expanded Writing Your Way Home into a three-part journey. Rather than trying to fit everything into a single workshop, we'll continue building on the foundation we created together.
✨ Part 2: Saturday, September 26 (11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.)
✨ Part 3: Saturday, November 7 (9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)

To preserve the trust, safety, and connection that began in Part 1, Parts 2 and 3 will continue with our current cohort and will not be open to new participants.

Thank you for your openness, your courage, and your willingness to show up for yourselves and one another. It is an honor for Walters Wellness Group to walk alongside you as you continue writing your way home.

We can't wait to see you in September! 💙

When one person is struggling with their mental health, it often affects the people who love them too, especially a spouse or partner.

Mental health challenges can create distance, silence, guilt, grief, and changes in intimacy. Sometimes both people are hurting, and neither one quite knows how to reach the other.

In this month’s Mental Health Matters blog, I talk about some of the ways mental health can affect marriage and why understanding what is happening beneath the surface matters.

Healing does not have to happen alone. Sometimes it begins with compassion, honest conversation, and the willingness to understand each other a little differently.

I invite you to read and reflect, and if it speaks to you, please share. ❤️

Our June Newsletter is here....

As we move through the year, I encourage each of us to be intentional about checking in with our mental and emotional well-being.

Mental health is influenced by many factors, including our environment, physical health, relationships, life experiences, and even patterns that may have been passed down through generations.

Understanding these influences can help us respond to ourselves and others with greater compassion and awareness.

Heal. Rest. Move. Two upcoming events you don't want to miss.

At Walters Wellness Group we believe healing is not meant to happen in isolation. We are wired for connection and community.

When we gather with intention, safety is created, and safety is where transformation begins.

In June we have two upcoming opportunities to experience exactly that.

1. Journaling for Healing & Manifestation with Dr. Cathia Walters on June 13, 2026

2. Sound healing with Ananda "Bliss". Unwind, reset, and release on June 12, 2026

If you decide to join us for both events click the link below to save $20. Select the "Bundle Ticket" option to register.

We hope you can join us in Pinole, CA in June

Our New Blog Series on Mental Health Is Here

This is the first installment of a four-part series focused on mental health and emotional well-being.

While conversations about mental health often emerge during times of crisis, caring for our mental and emotional wellness is something that deserves attention every day of the year.

What does “mental health" mean to you? When you think about mental health, who do you see, that is, what image comes to mind?

Mental health is something we all have, yet it is often only discussed when there is a crisis. While May is recognized as Mental Health Awareness Month, caring for our mental and emotional well-being is a year-round journey. In this four-part series, we will take time to explore mental health in a p...
