So proud of our little Kindred crew. We started out with just 4 of us and people saying we had no idea what we were doing and that we wouldn't last 6 months. Now it's 3 years later, our team has grown to 7, and we're being recognized for creating the kind of environment we set out to create! Most of our reviews online highlight how comfortable the space is, how welcoming the artists are, how our clients feel listened to, and also how funny is... and we're so proud of allll of that (especially Worms.)
Little review awards like this don't mean much in the grand scheme of things, but, we set out to make a shop when we couldn't stand much of what the status quo of tattoo shops was. We wanted a place where artists and clients alike are challenged to grow and are listened to and respected. And where anyone, regardless of skin color, age, size, disability, neurodivergence, gender, or orientation can feel beautiful in their skin. All of our artists have continued to hone our artistry, and we all push each other to be better every day. Being recognized in this way lets us know we're on the right track!!!
