~Undereating can slow digestion + hormone production. Your gut and metabolism need fuel. 👌🏾
❇️Get sunlight 🌞 on your skin + in your eyes 👀
~Morning sun helps reset your circadian rhythm, regulate cortisol, and support digestion.
❇️Poop 💩 daily (and if you're not... that's a sign!) 😩
~If you're not going every day, your liver, hormones, and digestion are struggling. Start tracking it 👍🏽
❇️Add cooked beets, carrots 🥕 and bitter greens 🥬
~These support bile flow, estrogen detox, and a happy liver - essential for less bloat + better hormone balance.

It’s the month of love ❤️ and let’s take a moment out to love on that liver. It is like your third Brain 🧠 It’s one of the busiest organs we have. Join me over these next 30 days and take some simple but beneficial steps to improve the health of your liver

❤️Week 1: Hydration and Diet Introduction
✔️Day 1-3: Increase Water Intake- at least 8 glasses of water per day. Start your day with a glass of warm water with lemon.
✔️Day 4-6: Reduce Processed Foods- Cut down on processed, high-sugar, and high-fat foods. Introduce more fruits and vegetables into your diet.
✔️Day 7: Plan Your Meals- Include whole foods like leafy greens, berries, nuts, and lean proteins.
❤️Week 2: Incorporating Liver-Friendly Foods:
✔️Day8-10: Focus on antioxidants - berries, nuts, and green tea to your diet.
✔️Day 11-13: Increase Fiber Intake- Include nuts, seeds, avocado, legumes, and vegetables.

🚨 Red 3 Banned: A Wake-Up Call for Our Health 🚨

As a holistic health practitioner specializing in hormone and gut health, I'm on a mission to educate and empower YOU to make informed decisions about what you're putting into your body. And today, I want to highlight an important development that could impact your health: the ban of Red 3 in food products.

What is Red 3?
Red 3, also known as erythrosine, is a synthetic dye commonly used in candies, baked goods, beverages, and even cosmetics. While it may make products visually appealing, it comes with significant health concerns—especially for those of us who prioritize hormone and gut health.

🙋🏽‍♀️Why Was Red 3 Banned?
In 1990, the FDA banned Red 3 for use in cosmetics and external products due to concerns over its potential to cause cancer. Recent studies have raised alarms about its possible link to thyroid cancer, hormone disruption, and even behavioral issues, especially in children. For individuals with sensitive digestive systems or autoimmune conditions, it can also exacerbate gut inflammation and imbalance.

‼️Hormone Impact
Red 3 has been shown to disrupt hormone function. When synthetic dyes enter the bloodstream, they can interact with the endocrine system, leading to imbalances in hormones like estrogen, thyroid hormones, and others. As someone who focuses on hormone health, I cannot stress enough how important it is to reduce exposure to these substances to maintain healthy hormonal balance.

‼️Gut Health Concerns:
Our gut is responsible for processing everything we consume, and artificial additives like Red 3 can compromise gut integrity. Studies have suggested that artificial food dyes can alter the gut microbiome, contributing to digestive issues such as bloating, gas, and inflammation. This can lead to a cascade of health problems, including leaky gut and impaired nutrient absorption.

🙋🏽‍♀️What Can You Do?

✅Read Labels: Be aware of synthetic dyes like Red 3 in the products you buy. They often appear as "Erythrosine" or "Red 3."
✅Choose Whole Foods: Opt for fresh, whole, and minimally processed foods that don’t contain artificial colorings or additives.
✅Educate Your Family: The more we educate ourselves and our families about the risks of consuming harmful chemicals, the more we can take proactive steps toward wellness.
✅Detoxify Your Body: Consider supporting your body's natural detoxification processes with the right nutrition, hydration, and liver-supporting herbs to flush out harmful chemicals and dyes.
