Thank you to the dedicated facilitators that helped make the evening a success, and thank you to all the students who attended. We hope you learned something about another profession, and we cannot wait to see you again for the next case conference in the Spring!

Thank you to everyone who attended our Interprofessional Case Conference last night. There were 81 students representing the following professions: physician assistant, pharmacy, dental, medical, and occupational therapy. We were so excited to see a great turnout and appreciate everyone's participation. Pictures of the event will be posted soon, so be on the lookout for those.

We have also begun planning more events for next semester including an interprofessional Trivia Night! Details to come!

Hey everyone,

The University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy won the Creative Inter-Professional Team Event award nationwide for the 6th annual Script Your Future competition!! We could not have won without the help and support of P*P@Pitt. A HUGE thanks to all those who participated!!

Don't forget: Tonight from 6:00p - 7:30p in Scaife Lecture Room 3 on the 4th floor, P*P@Pitt along with APhA-ASP will be hosting our second Interprofessional Case Conference for the semester. Come eat free food (wraps, pizza, cookies, chips, etc.) mingle with other healthcare professionals,and learn how each profession can contribute​ to the health of your patients!

60 students from Pitt's medical, pharmacy, dental, physician assistant, nursing, and physical therapy schools came together for our last case conference in February!

The evening involved discussions on op**te pain medications, PTSD, PT and OT care for rotator cuff tears, dental interventions for broken teeth, and a few remarks about Pennsylvania's Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP). Here are some snapshots of the day.
