Today I put on a size medium scrub and I was a little uncomfortable for a hot minute. So, I sat with it for a few moments and allowed that to settle instead of putting back on my baggy scrubs.
I’ve made it to 4 pounds from my healthy goal weight. I started out at 222 pounds and I’m at 159. For my height a healthy weight is between 135-155 and I don’t think going lighter than the upper limit does anything for my skinny angular bones or mental wellbeing.
My focus now shifts to building muscle and maintenance. As someone with POTS, exercise creates unique challenges such as passing out on exertion… yay me! I work around it.
Why am I sharing?
1. Accountability for myself.
2. Encouragement for others.
It’s not about the scale. It’s about being healthy and present. It’s about recognizing lifelong struggles that show up on the scale. It’s not even about knowledge. I have certifications in holistic nutrition and coaching!
The biggest factor for success has been two fold
1. Downright honesty with my commitment to my health.
2. Support. (Y’all my man loves me with curves but he also wants me around a very long time and has been my biggest supporter.)
So, if you’re on your own journey, I’m here for you! I’ll cheerlead you on!!
You’ve got this!

Kimber
