Happy Nurses Week to my fellow nurses!👩🏻‍⚕️💉🩺 I know I usually rant about how important it is to pick a medical professional to do your injections (and it is‼️), but this Nurses Week post I figured I would post a picture of me over 25 years ago before I graduated from nursing school from The University of Texas at Austin 🤘🏻🤘🏻with my BSN. I’m hoping when you look at this picture from over 25 years ago, you think I haven’t aged much at all! This is the key to good injections💉!!!! It’s the Wild Wild West here in Texas! Y’all!!! Please make sure you are going to an injector that is using legit product and has experience, preferably someone who is medically trained! This is your face, and if not done correctly or with fake product, it can be dangerous and disfiguring! End of rant! 💜💜

A lot of people ask me what my favorite neurotoxin areas are. One of them is under eye tox! It can be great to smooth out under eye wrinkles or to reduce the jelly roll. I feel like it helps me not look as tired. This beautiful patient tried it and is loving her results! Her eyes are glowing! It just helps open up the eyes! Everyone’s results are different and I cannot completely freeze this area, but I can help soften the wrinkles and jelly roll. Side note, I numb you, so most people do not even feel the injection at all. What do you think, are you ready to try under eye tox?! 💉👀

Tox Tuesday! Jeuveau for the win! This was this sweet patient’s first time ever getting neuromodulators, so she wanted to go a little lighter on her amount, and still wanted movement but just not the deep wrinkles. I think we achieved her goals beautifully! She is not frozen, can still move, but is not creating the deep creases that are causing wrinkles. I personally would want more units in my frown, but this was exactly what she wanted! Happy patients are all that matters, so goal accomplished! 🙌🎉
