I’ve been wanting to get more in touch with my Hungarian roots lately 🇭🇺❤️

I’ve been reading Mágia: Hungarian Myth, Magic, and Folklore by Margit Tóth, and I’ve loved learning more about the beliefs and folklore of the Hungarian people.

One thing that really caught my attention is the Világfa, or World Tree. In Hungarian folklore, this great tree connects different realms of existence, with its branches reaching toward the heavens and its roots extending below. I love seeing how ideas like this were woven into the way people understood the world around them.

There’s something really special about learning the stories, symbols, and traditions that were part of my ancestors’ culture and feeling a little more connected to where I came from. 🌳✨

For a long time, I've wanted a little corner of the internet that feels slower, softer, and more intentional. A place where I can share the things that inspire me—thrifting adventures, vintage treasures, creativity, fashion, everyday rituals, forgotten stories, and all the little moments of beauty that often go unnoticed.

I don't have everything planned, and I kind of love that. I want this to grow naturally alongside me, becoming a collection of the things I genuinely love and the ideas that make life feel a little more magical.

There's something so satisfying about creating a garden that works with nature instead of against it. 🌿✨ A few thoughtfully chosen herbs and flowers can add color, fragrance, and beauty while naturally helping discourage some common garden visitors. Every bloom, every leaf, and every little creature has a place, but it's nice when our vegetables get a chance to thrive too.
