Every nervous system responds differently, and more movement doesn’t necessarily mean more healing.
During a Spinal Flow session, your body is always communicating with your nervous system. For some people, that communication is expressed through visible movements such as gentle swaying, muscle twitches, deep breaths, or emotional releases. For others, the work happens much more quietly and internally.
Your nervous system will only release what it feels safe and ready to release. Sometimes it begins by calming inflammation, reducing stress, improving communication between the brain and body, or creating a greater sense of safety before producing any noticeable physical movement.
Healing isn’t measured by how much your body moves during a session. Many people who have very little outward movement still notice meaningful changes afterward, such as:
* Feeling calmer or more relaxed
* Sleeping better
* Reduced pain or tension
* Improved energy
* Better digestion
* Feeling more present and connected in their body
Every person’s healing journey is unique. Your body has its own pace and wisdom, and we honor that process. Whether your session includes a lot of movement or very little, your nervous system is still receiving the care and support it needs.
Trust your body—it always knows what it’s ready for.
