We always celebrate our members achievements no matter if itβs a PR in the gym or in their professional career. Please help me celebrate Aimee Asbury in obtaining her Licensed Professional Counselor. (LPC) This is something that takes many hours to achieve and a ton of dedication. Thank you for all the help and support you give to others!
Please take a minute to get to know Aimee.
My name is Aimee Asbury, I have been a therapist for the last 4 years working with adolescents and their families. After many long but rewarding days, I have completed the requirements to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. My goal has always been to make a difference, especially for our youth, who often carry weight that we might not see or expect.
Outside of the therapy office - I compete in powerlifting. I have been lifting since around 2016 when I joined the Acrobatics and Tumbling team at Glenville State. This sparked my passion for being strong and being part of something bigger than myself. When I graduated, I knew I wanted to continue with my goals in the weight room and powerlifting was the perfect fit. For me, the gym serves as more than just a place to trainβit is a community that promotes resilience, connection, and mental wellness.
Code 3 Health and Fitness has been a great space to continue my powerlifting journey and to be apart of a community that supports both mental and physical health.
