My tools for healing my hormonal anxiety that I won’t go a day without… perimenopause is so fun.

Over the years, I apparently trained my nervous system that we were in danger and my hormones didn’t help that, but I’m learning that I can retrain my nervous system… that I can teach it we’re safe. One of those things is by slowing down, going for that walk, grounding on the grass and getting sunshine in my eyeballs.

One of the biggest things I’ve learned on my health journey is this:

You are allowed to advocate for yourself.

“Normal” labs don’t mean much if you still feel exhausted, anxious, inflamed, or unlike yourself.

Find providers who are curious with you — not dismissive.

Your body deserves that.

These are the biggest game changers for me and my anxiety. Along with nervous system regulation and chilling my cortisol out. Definitely still in process with that one.
